One of the most important, but often overlooked, element of marketing is the development and use of customer personas. A customer persona is a fictional individual who represents the traits of your largest segment(s) of customers. These personas are developed by examining data collected from a variety of sources, and should be used when planning marketing activities, such as web page development and advertising creative.
I was recently a guest on the “R.E.A.L. Talk with Homes for Heroes” podcast where I shared some of the important reasons to have customer personas, how to create them, and how to use them as part of your marketing strategy. A lot of what I shared was delivered through the lens of a real estate agent and mortgage lender, however the information I shared are universal to all types of businesses, regardless of industry.
If you are a real estate agent or mortgage lender, I highly recommend you subscribe to the “R.E.A.L. Talk with Homes for Heroes” podcast, which breaks down the real issues real estate industry professionals face in today’s ever-changing real estate market.
