Two things measurement solves

TYPE: Note

MATURITY: Captured in October 2025

IDEA: I heard this during an EOS Data summit event in Minneapolis. The day-long summit was focused on the importance of using data and some sort of scorecard system to measure if your company is achieving its goals. The speaker said that using measurements takes care of two things:

  1. You replace feelings with facts

  2. You replace assumptions with clarity

Bottom line: Use data and measurements to make better, logical decisions.
